Coaches on Zoom Drinking Coffee

A conversation with Pamela Larde, Founder of Tandem Light Press, Professor, and award-winning author.

As well as a coach, Pamela is a creative - and this is an integral aspect of her ethos. Her work focuses on how we can allow our creativity to give us the space to move in different directions as we navigate the twists and turns of life. To move in a new direction, we must envision and imagine what could be, which is an inherently creative process. In this episode, Pamela explains why we must rethink creativity to appreciate the different ways it can be expressed by different people.

Another key concept in Pamela’s work is wholeness, a concept she first encountered at a religious university whose motto was “care for the whole person.” In discussion with Coaching.com CEO Alex Pascal, she explains why she believes care is collaborative, but people still need to advocate for themselves. Listen in for practical tips on how you can become a voice for your own wholeness. She also shares the materials she uses in her courses, which combines coaching models like Brene Brown’s with science and social justice.

Recently, Pamela presented on the subject of coaching joy, and she was asked if joy is something that needs to be worked for. To hear her answer as well as her strategies for unlocking joy in her own life, listen to the full episode.
