Amy Mallon is getting ready for her first season as the head women's basketball coach at Drexel University. While this is a new role for her, she is a very familiar face on the Dragons' bench, for the past 16 seasons she served as an assistant and then associate head coach for former head coach Denise Dillon. In Episode #50 of "1-on-1 with Matt Leon," Matt speaks with Mallon over Zoom to find out what it has been like to take over as a head coach in a pandemic, what she loves about coaching and they also look back at Mallon's outstanding career as a player.
