1. Jesus is the fulfillment of every promise God ever made, v. 12-16

Lesser motivations…
a) fear- leads us to do nothing or the easiest thing
b) pity- leads us to depend on others for everything
c) love- leads us to do anything
Right motivation…
d) glory- leads us to do the right thing
5. Jesus’ death is consequential, v. 30-33
a) the world is judged
b) Satan is defeated

c) Jesus will draw people to himself
6. Jesus invites you to believe, v. 34-36

Who do you see the Gospel reaching these days?
What, if anything, would change about your life if you asked yourself, “Is this what Jesus died for?”
What most motivates you: fear, pity, love or glory?
If we all believed that the world is under judgment, Satan is defeated and Jesus will draw people to himself; how would this inform the way we engage people with the Gospel?
