Through programs and partnerships, Marla helps businesses and people discover and create better homes to live in or work on for healthier, more comfortable lives. With her years of research and experience with green and healthier homes, she curated a collection of better products in her online shop Everyday Green Home Shop. 

In this chat, Marla shares her journey toward healthier green living and explains how her background in engineering coupled with a series of health scares brought her into the work that she does today. Marla and Tee discuss a number of things to be aware of when you are either looking for a new home or remodeling your current home or apartment. Marla breaks down some of the key items to be conscious about when determining the status of your home such as paints, flooring, and especially air quality. In addition, Maria and Tee address the importance of replacing your plastic household goods with glass or wood and how the process of turning your home into a more green oasis is unique to each person and family.
