Jake White never really got into drinking. But that didn’t mean he didn’t want to be want to be social and have a good time. 

So he started hosting parties without any drugs or alcohol. They grew in popularity, and within a semester hundreds of students attended his signature “sober parties.” He helped other learn how to throw the parties and get sponsors, and dubbed the movement Party.0 (party-point-oh). All people wanted was food, fun, and friends.

The cause became his mission, and seven years ago he also started Vive18 to help educators host substance use prevention events that engage students and help them overcome peer pressure with confidence so they can become resilient, passionate leaders.
