High school sweethearts are couples that tend to be the strongest and happiest partners. Unfortunately for Maya's case, her long-lasting relationship with her husband had become toxic up to a point where she became missing up to this date.
Maya was last seen by her family at around 5 p.m. on January 7, 2021, at her residence on Paseo Los Gatos in Chula Vista, San Diego, California.
Based on numerous statements from close relatives and friends, both May and her husband, Larry, were having relationship problems that would have concluded in a divorce and possibly the reason why Maya became missing.
