Californians are still reeling from three mass shootings in less than 48 hours. There is much debate over gun control, but what should our society do to stop this ever-worsening epidemic of mass murder?

In today's edition of The State of California, KCBS Radio political reporter Doug Sovern spoke with Tinisch Hollins, executive director of Californians for Safety and Justice, an Oakland-based non-profit organization focused on criminal justice reform and public safety advocacy. She is also a crime survivor who has lost three brothers to gun violence.
