Poetica is the brainchild of Etymon, the group behind the acclaimed The Charles Grand Brasserie & Bar and Loulou in Milson Point. The expansive and sun drenched diner is dishing up an approachable menu, largely cooked on its centrepiece hearth: expect flambadou oysters, dry-aged swordfish and roast chook seasoned with molluscs. Plus, Sydney-based hospitality group, The Boathouse Group, has built its empire on waterfront dining and long summer days. Now, the team are serving casual, coastal fare in the dining room of Australia’s most prestigious yacht club.
