I first met Lachie at a hotel in Brisbane whilst he was attending the Extreme Leadership course. He came back to our room for a break and time to reflect on the journey he had been on so far. Post that meeting, I followed Lachie's journey and watched him provide support for many men. This is through his Podcast Open Up, the Men’s Collective Work, which he recently stepped away from to enable him to focus on the health of FIFO workers and his new program “How to be authentically you”.  Lachie was recently voted the National Winner of the Australian Men's Health Forum Men’s Health Awards for 2021. He describes himself as the FIFO mental Health Guy with his motto: I stand for the FIFO workers who are suffering.
