Hey everyone I’m Pastor Gary Hoban and welcome to episode 71 of Refinery Life radio /TV.

Our goal here is to release a 2-3 minute video / Podcast each day, designed to challenge you and get you to spend more time with God.

Today we are going to talk about, Counting our Days.

Psalm 23:6 (ESV)

6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

It is hard to conceive, but there aren’t too many days left of this year.

Where did another year go?

As we progress towards the end of the year and the beginning of another, it is important that we evaluate how our time is being spent.

Our days on this earth are finite. Innately we know that, but do we really think about what that means?

There are 168 hours in a week, and if you sleep 8 hours per night, 56 hours of your week is already gone.

When you add in getting ready for work, commuting to work, being at work, and eating, the hours quickly dwindle away.

You must have time for your friends and family, but what about time for God?

How can you be sure to make enough time for the Lord of the universe?

I believe the answer can be found by walking with Christ throughout every moment of your life.

In all of your activities, great or small, He should be your ever present guest.

Invite the King of glory to share the days allotted to you now, and look forward to enjoying His presence throughout eternity.

I really want to encourage you to be diligent with your Bible study time, because God has so much more for us than we can get from just going to church once or twice a week and hearing someone else talk about the Word.

When you spend time with God, your life will change in amazing ways, because God is a Redeemer.

Theres nothing thats too hard for Him, and He can make you whole, spirit, soul and body!
