The school year is drawing to a close during this coronavirus event, and there are a lot of adjustments still in progress. We’re not going to know the consequences of these last couple of months for some time to come, nor the trauma that results from it.

On today’s show, Jennifer Price, an author and attorney that practices special education, guardianship, and special needs trusts on the East Coast, joins Amanda and Vickie to discuss all things IEP.

Listen in to for fascinating insights into the differences and similarities between West and East Coast laws and school boards. And yes, Jennifer is accepting new clients!

Show Highlights:

  • Jennifer explains the steps after filing a complaint in the state of Pennsylvania, and Vickie and Amanda compare it to filing one in the state of California, where mediation is strongly encouraged.
