Often our comfort becomes our great excuse for avoiding the difficulties of living the Gospel. we do not want to be uncomfortable, we do not want to sit in our discomfort as we examine our lives. We are so often like the pharisee in the Gospel.

Can we instead sit in the midst of discomfort, embracing it for the sake of Jesus Christ, who calls us not to comfort but to greatness?
