Thank-you so much for supporting the podcast and the mission to help increase awareness & decrease the negative stigma that is often associated with mental health struggles. By coming together and supporting one another, we can all do our part in normalizing mental health & helping those in need. Today's episode is one where i discuss a topic that has been quite prevalent in my mental health journey. I dive into the idea that healing is not linear and similar to life, there will be both good and not so good days. It's important that we recognize this, that we don't beat ourselves up for having those not so good days/weeks/periods, and that we don't place certain expectations or time limits on the journey to improve our mental health. Patience is key when navigating through mental health issues, time heals all, just not on our schedule. By acting more kind & compassionately with ourselves during these times we are not feeling the best, we prevent falling into a negative cycle which causes only harm and is not beneficial to us at all. Trust the process, don't give up, things will get better.
