Righteous Influence

Paraphrase of Jonathan Edwards:

The spirit that is at work in a people is plainly observed so as to convince others that Christ is the son of God, died to save sinners, we are in great need of Him, and our affections for Him and God increases.

True righteousness - aligns with God in our worship, in our life, and in our influence.

God uses everyone for influence and its the “little known” to the “no named” that He most often uses to be influential.

-1 Corinthians 15:58

4 characteristics of righteous influence

1. Willingness to give everything

2. Little regard for self, but utmost for God

3. Speaks and Acts Differently

4. Consistency
