Darren Gallagher is a 30-plus-year veteran of the Long Island Music scene.  He started off In The Robert Thomas Band in the Mid '80s playing a mix of cover and original songs.   Much later founded Net Prophets, a highly respected versatile area rock band, which eventually morphed into Badlands: Tribute to Bruce Springsteen.  Badlands has played to crowds in excess of 3,000 people up and down the East Coast. Darren currently lends his searing guitar work, and heartfelt lead and background vocals to Playin’ English: Tribute to Squeeze, Joe Jackson, and Elvis Costello.Instant replay, The Byrne Unit, and his original project, Darren Gallagher and the Killer Band where he leads a 10-piece band complete with a horn section.
