We are seeing a lot of news about drug companies and manufacturers agreeing to settlements that would see them pay out billions of dollars as a result of the opioid epidemic and their role in it. But is the money enough? These companies in most cases don’t even admit wrongdoing. And how is it that, when these things happen, no one goes to jail?
