We have a God who invites us to draw near to Him every day. Yet, we face an everyday choice to listen to His invitation and seek Him or to neglect His voice and tune our hearts to our own voice or voices in this world. Neglecting faith causes spiritual drift. Spiritual drift results in God's discipline and outcomes all who are in Christ should want to avoid! Fortunately, there is a daily decision that can be made which will tune our hearts to His and prevent us from the dangers of spiritual drift.
