This chapter outlines David's victories over various armies who lived in the promised land. His victories foreshadow the way that Jesus will some day crush his enemies and set up his kingdom with strength. Thankfully, David's mercy on King Toi also give us hope that those who repent and put their faith in Jesus will not only be spared, but will become members of His kingdom!
