Happy Friday as I record this. My 2nd favorite day of the week, other than Saturday. Today I explain a why its important to clean the audio files the best you can before you decide to merge them all together into a master track. Then I explain a bit on what the sound Hertz rate is and how it works. You can see for yourself by switching the recording settings to very low, to very high. Zoom in on the audio waves and you will see the difference. The lower Hertz rate means less of the audio is being recorded less frequently. The higher, means more of the audio is being recorded. I record my shows at 48 Hertz rate. Most pros use 48 Hertz rate when recording audio. Is your podcast plain vanilla ice cream? Even if its very very good vanilla, nobody buys a scoop of vanilla when they can get a loaded Sundae. Make your podcast the sundae, not just plain vanilla.
