175. Leslie Tessler on Launching Hanni, Traveling, and How She Created A Cult Favorite in Body-care
Today’s guest is Leslie Tessler, CEO and Founder of Hanni. In 2010 Leslie was working her dream job in beauty but instead of enjoying it, she felt isolated, anxious and generally unhappy. After almost 10 years of not sleeping and suffering from what seemed like constant “mystery” ailments, Leslie decided to make a change and booked a one-way ticket to buenos aires, argentina. Her only goal was learning spanish well enough to be considered fluent (and potentially finding a hunky argentine fling). What she got was way more than what she bargained for.
Her 6 month, turned 10 year, “trip” to buenos aires was filled with adventure and excitement.
It took traveling to the other side of the world to finally start realizing what being happy means to her.
