Kate Moore is a parent whose children attend Valley Park School in Maidstone, Kent.

Kate was appalled to learn that Maidstone Borough Council (MBC) had approved an application for a 15 metre 5G mast to be erected less than 10 metres from the school boundary and less than 100 metres from the classrooms.

There were strong objections from parents and residents, but the council gave the go-ahead to install the mast anyway.

Kate decided to take legal action against the local authority. She tells Richie why everyone should be concerned about 5G masts and what they can do to prevent councils erecting them without proper consultation.

Kate was joined on the show by Julia Burgess. Julia consulted on Kate's case and runs a WiFi awareness group on Facebook.
