This is the State of California. The Pro Football Hall of Fame is comprised of legendary athletes that have helped reshape the sport as we know it, but there's one individual who has not made the list.
Bay Area native Jim Plunkett is the only starting quarterback to win two Super Bowl rings with the Raiders and has yet to be inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
But Senator Dave Cortese is trying to change that. He introduced a Senate resolution pushing the 2025 selection committee to induct the former NFL quarterback into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
