In February 2008, Derek, Messy, R-Luv and Hecky move to Vancouver and settle into a rented house in the suburbs. They are visited by one of Derek's old friends who tells Derek he has a drug problem.
In October 2009, Derek walks into a diner after a three day coke binge and meets the girl of his dreams.
