Jesus raising Lazarus from the dead sent shock waves throughout the pilgrims in Jerusalem for Passover. Jewish pilgrims from Judea and the diaspora saw in the resurrection the coming of the King of Israel. Chief Priests felt alarmed and considered drastic measures to rain on the parade.
