Amy recently attended the 1001 critical days APPG (All Party Parliamentary Group) where the government's new green paper 'Transforming Children and Young People's Mental Health Provision' was discussed. This green paper sets out the government's proposals for mental health provision nationally, so it is exceptionally important and relevant for all health visitors.
Find out on this episode why the paper has been so controversial and why we are asking for you to please write your own response to the consultation. As a group we health visitors need to advocate for our children and families here.

The guide to writing a consultation response is here: (includes what the problems are with the green paper and what we are asking for, where, when and how to send it)http://www.pipuk.org.uk/sites/default/files/APPG%20members_Green%20paper%20response%20prompt_0.pdf
Thanks so much for listening.
