We can potentially take this day to consider our role, what we can and need to do to be part of the solution for Unity. From her book The Habits of Unity Elaine shares some actions and inspirational quotes that provide ideas for the focus of July: Become Involved! Reach out to a neighbor, offer some childcare time for a Mom who needs some 'me' time, pick up some trash along the road. And for the 4th of July, Elaine includes a famous quote from Pres. John F Kennedy: ....Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country.
