Volume, a 17-day festival, brings together music, film and performance across different wings of AGNSW. The bill features Sampa the Great, Mount Eerie, Sonya Holowell, Black Belt Eagle Scout and 22 more local and international acts. Sydney Modern’s repurposed World War II oil tanker will turn into a performance space, and there’ll be free gigs, workshops and more. Curator Jonathan Wilson joins Around Town with his festival picks.
