Let's travel with Jill to Agadez and the Sahara in Niger. What does she find and what realizations does it bring to her. She shares her experiences in the desert and how it affected her and the gifts she found through it. Jill experiences being a woman in a generally man's desert world. Breakfast was a bread made in the embers in the desert sand and lots of tea. Finding shade during the middle of the day to rest and then off again as it cools. It's hard to imagine how wonderful canned veggies can taste, when you have nothing else. Being serenaded by Taureg and his guitar as she slept under the stars.
