This weeks program was mostly recorded at the First Annual Texas Bitcoin Conference which took place this week in Austin, TX. The theme for this weeks episode is the future of Bitcoin. At the conference I was exposed to some really exciting new ideas that I really took to heart. I knew the blockchain had uses outside of just being a public ledger for the medium of exchange known as bitcoin. In episode 3 of SovereignBTC, the Many Uses of Bitcoin, we talked about just a few of the innovative means of utilizing the blockchain such as smart contracts and stock exchanges. At the Texas Bitcoin Conference Hackathon, I was blown away by not only the ideas present, but the number of people actually bringing these ideas to fruition.
