History shows us changing the constitution can be an unpredictable process, but Anthony Albanese has made it clear that's one of his main aims during his first term as leader. 
He's pushing ahead with a referendum on a First Nations Voice to Parliament, which would enshrine in the constitution a body to advise on matters relating to Australia's first peoples, and already there's resistance.
