I graduate with my Bachelor's Degree from BYU-Idaho in 30 days! It is INSANE! I am getting more and more PUMPED and EXCITED for the next chapter of my life, and I am also seeking to blow the rest of this one OUT OF THE WATER!
With that said though there is a need to take a step back and remind myself that to sprint endlessly without a plan of where I am going is not going to help me get where I need to go. Furthermore, if I put my energy in less-useful activities here at this pivotal time I may just stress myself out and struggle much more than I need to at the finish line. I am not going to let that happen to myself.
This is for those of you out there that are seeking to finish a project, move on from a job, or something of that nature. Change is crazy but it can also be exciting. Making the most of the final legs of your current journey I have found is one of the BEST ways to get a solid start to your next adventure. :)
1. Focus on what excites you that is beyond a job well-done.
2. Gain strength from remembering and/or mind-melding with those who have helped you come this far. If they helped you get this far they are likely to be able to help you finish strong.
3. Pace yourself. Don't run faster than you have strength. Take it one day at a time and appreciate the process. The better you finish the better your next beginning will be. :)
