Bart Yasso is known as the Mayor of Running and Chief Running Officer at Runner’s World until his retirement in 2017. We had the chance to talk with him in person at the Anchorage Runfest back in August. He talks about his running adventures, inspirations, and career with us. It was a short 20-minute Lyft from our hotel in midtown Anchorage to Midnight Sun Brewing Company’s loft and brewery. Their brewing space and kitchen are located on the lower level. The loft is on the second level and has indoor and outdoor space where you can enjoy food and beer. They have a kitchen in the space where they make some tasty food, and we recorded our “hot takes” on tasty sandwiches and amazing soup. Yum! You must come to this place for a great meal if you are in Anchorage!
