The book of Acts tells God’s story of setting apart the new community of believers in Jesus Christ to make Him known in the world by the power of the Holy Spirit. This story continues today, and we are part of it. Our passage, Acts 1:1-11, frames the mission of God in the world, outlines the whole book, and reveals His powerful calling and purpose for us.
