Jen Copus is a former teacher, administrator, and university instructor. She is now the proud owner of Revitalized Health and Wellness Coaching.

In this episode, Jen shares her struggle with obesity, how she entered the world of running in her 40's, which then lead to 4 half-marathons, 6 sprint triathlons, and numerous 5K races.

More than that, Jen shares important ideas around an optimal mindset, including:

  • Make your why greater than any feelings of shame
  • Let your belief that YOU CAN take over
  • Have the attitude of "just try." What's the worst that can happen? You finish last? So what.
  • Try new things. Trust yourself. Trust your training.
  • Accept and appreciate where you are. Show up and believe in yourself.
