Most of the focus has been on the team sports like football and basketball, but smaller sports like fencing, volleyball, swimming, and field hockey have borne the brunt of the pandemic in many ways, and that has ripple effects all the way up to the highest level of competition -- the US National teams that go to the Olympics.
