An out of control bushfire in Perth's north-east has sparked a possible threat to lives and homes.

A watch and act is in place for people bounded by Abernethey Road, Kalamunda Road and the Great Eastern Highway Bypass in parts of Hazelmere, High Wycombe, Perth Airport and South Guildford in Swan and Kalamunda.
