About the guest:

A graduate of Yale Medical School and with many years of experience treating patients with heart disease at Cedars-Sinai, hospital. His first reaction to chest pain was denial. After all, he was athletic, a former college gymnast and a runner, he soon realized that he needed to get medical intervention. Many don't in time and pay the price with a heart attack, often a deadly one. 

He had surgery for a condition referred to as "the widow maker," but managed to reclaim the life he wanted, including going back to work as an anesthesiologist.
