Hi All,
Many economies lately have been slipping into a recession, specifically, Japan, facing many negative headwinds. With all of this central bank tightening, we can see currencies decreasing, inflation increasing and jobs becoming harder to find. Many economies indexes are hitting all-time highs, yet slipping into recession... Why is that?
In today's podcast, I dive into the following:
- 150-151 USD/Yen, Japan losing purchasing power
- Papa Powell tightening, what happens
- USD being the cleanest clothes, in a dirty laundry bin, and Bitcoin being superior
- Japanese trade reliance and the implications of short and medium-term intervention
- Historic currency interventions not being fruitful, and yield curve control
- Bitcoin as a commoditized alternative to fiat debasement
Overall I appreciate everyone listening, would love to hear your thoughts!
Kind Regards,
