Welcome back in 2022! This was the first time in 5 years I was able to take 4 weeks off and I’m so glad I did.
When I started a business, I said goodbye to holidays altogether. Back in 2019, I was on a plane every 3 weeks and there wasn’t a day where I wasn’t doing something on my phone and laptop.
Over the past 2 years, I have learned what true rest looks like. This led me to block the time off and take an entire month to completely disconnect and rest.
Society has taught us to believe that to be successful we have to hustle and work hard all of the time. The busier you are is equated to being more successful but this just isn’t true.
Do you struggle to switch off when you’re away from your business? You have that niggling thought at the back of your mind that there’s something you need to be doing so you can never fully relax.
Guilt shows up for each of us in different ways. I’ll explore these feelings in this episode and how you can work through guilt so you can shift your mindset to accept that your to-do list will never be done.
Start to prioritise fun and rest in your days. I set my intention for the year and I’ll give you helpful tips to set yours too.
