In Episode 117, we are joined by the host of the Twitch soccer show "50 Plus Döner", and Black Fires SG co-founder Jake Payne!
In the first half of the show, we go into a wild Concacaf Nations League Final between the US and Mexico. Old hostilities flared up quick in a dramatic final that went 120 minutes to decide the victor! We talk about the US's resilience going down twice to take the game into extra time and won off a Pulisic/US Agent PK and saved from going to a shootout by an incredible save from Denver's own Ethan Horvath. We go into the performance by Weston McKennie, Horvath, the shenanigans from the Mexico supporters, and the debut of Clint Dempsey as a soccer pundit!
In the 2nd half of the show we go into a preview of the Euros that start this weekend, and review each group and our picks to progress from each group!
