"How is rape such a big deal with women, when it also happens with men but they do not make a big deal out of it?"
This was a question asked at a speaking engagement by a man. The reason why I have chosen to address it on the podcast is because this question clearly shows the state of our society. And our role is to educate not just women but men too otherwise things will never change.
Also I want us all to use the correct language. Please refer to people who have experienced rape as Survivors and not victims.
