I HAD to say it
I HAD to say it

Ok so the Russians actually invaded Ukraine. Wasn't really expecting it to the extent that it happened. But not completely surprised either. War is not a new thing, there has been conflict constantly on this planet basically since the first of our ancestors picked up a rock to club the guy with the better berries. Simply fact of the matter is that this is one of the constants in this world. In this episode I talk a bit about my feelings on the matter, the fact that the armchair generals are coming out to spout about how much this is wrong and how it is affecting THEM. Also why the US has no right to interfere in the matter. Also despite the fact that some people won't want to hear it, there is a set of factors that could have contributed to these actions by the Russian Government. I will talk about that too. And it's not like this was a popular move, even in the case of the general Russian population. We will talk about that too. As much as it bothers me to admit it this is not just a black and white situation. Is attacking people in their homes and killing civilians wrong, of course it is. Do we really hold the moral high ground to be condemning Russia? That isn't as clear, if we are being honest.  So why all the vocal outcry and strong words from the hypocrites in office? Follow the money. Our leaders clearly at this point are anything but, and they serve only their own interests, so when a narrative is pushed so hard by every mainstream outlet I can't help but question it. There are a lot of uncomfortable issues that can be discussed because of this, and that's what we are here for.
