Hello everybody and thank you for turning into the 49th episode of the Wedding Songs Podcast. I am Matt Campbell and today I will be talking about the Hot 50 Wedding songs released in June 2021. Now what I am really excited about with this list is it is a list of the most popular songs that were downloaded and purchased from our website MyWeddingSongs.com. If you have any questions about the songs on the list you can reach out to me on the website. If you want to sample any of the songs on the list you can do so on our website MyWeddingSongs.com. Just go to charts then Hot 50. Unfortunately due to copyright laws, we cannot play the songs. While you're there, make sure you subscribe to our monthly newsletter. Just go to the main menu and click on subscribe, and then you'll be signed up for a monthly newsletter of all the new wedding songs released in the prior month that you could play at your wedding.
Let’s go ahead and get started with the first song on our list. At number 50 is a classic R&B song, “You’re The First, The Last, My Everything” by Barry White which was released October 25, 1974. This is one of the greatest R&B love songs of all time and I am sure it has been played many late nights in the bedroom if you know what I mean. The 49th song on the list is by Alan Jackson with his new song “You’ll Always Be My Baby (Written for Daughters’ Weddings)”. Daughters’ meaning plural because he has three of them. This was released on April 6, 2021, and makes for a brand new Country father-daughter dance song. Number 48 is one of my favorite Christian songs that are out right now. It has been out since July 13, 2018, so it is not a brand new song but a great song with a lot of emotion. The song is “You Say” by Lauren Daigle. If you have a lot of Christian music fans at your wedding then this is a great song to play. At number 47 is a newer R&B song by Robin Thicke called “When You Love Somebody” released September 27, 2019. This is a good background song because it has a mid-tempo groove to it.

The 46th song is by Rihanna and Calvin Harris with their smash dance hit “We Found Love”, released November 21, 2011. I love this song as an entrance song as the couple come into the reception hall, or even just to get the party started. The 45th son on the list is “Walk In A Room”, reimagined because this is like an acoustic cover, by Muscadine Bloodline. It was released on January 14, 2021, and makes for the perfect pride processional song as she is walking down the aisle towards her soon-to-be spouse. The 44th song is a new Country love song by Cooper Alan called “Tough Ones”, released on February 11, 2021. It describes the love between a couple that they are going to make it, they are going to be the “tough ones”. At number 43 is “There Is Only One You” by Us The Duo which was released May 12, 2020. Now some of you may remember Us The Duo was on the TV show AGT. This is a mid-tempo song that makes for a great background song during cocktails or dinner. You could even have it as a recessional song.

At number 42 is a great Anniversary dance song (when you get all married couples on the dance floor) by Frank Sinatra and Count Basie & His Orchestra called “Rhe Best Is Yet To Come”. This was released on January 1, 1964. So if you have Jazz fans, or, seems like everyone likes Frank Sinatra, this would be a great song to incorporate into your reception. At number 41 is another new Country song called “That’s You” ...
