His reign was just over a decade, but yet he amassed billions...at the peak of his reign of terror, he was considered one of the richest men in the world, all obtained from cocaine trafficking.  Call him a drug kingpin, drug lord, the king of cocaine, who preyed on the weak, and destroyed anyone who got in his way.  Somehow, he maintained his legions with the communities by showering them with gifts, and gathering thousands of followers...leaving wakes of dead, and millions scorned.  

Pablo Escobar met his demise on December 2nd, 1993...on a rooftop, where he had a meeting with a bullet...the death of Pablo Escobar, but we can't really discuss this story without talking about his lead henchmen Jhon Jairo Velásquez (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jhon_Jairo_Vel%C3%A1squez), and his loyal followers who would do his biddings...no one was safe.
