The book of Daniel is not about people; it is about God's sovereignty. God is in control of all things, and we can trust Him to work out His plan. Whether we understand it rightly of not, His plan will go forth. We are also called to be holy and to resolve in our hearts not to be defiled by things of this world; for then we give glory to God.
