One of the things that men often confide in me is that they are finding their hearts disconnected from their wives. This is very dangerous, because emotional affairs usually precede physical affairs. As husbands, we must never allow ourselves to be in a situation where we find ourselves energized by a women who is not our wife. If we do fall into such circumstances, we must immediately enlist the help of the Holy Spirit as well the assistance of our spiritual brothers. It's critical that we do not allow these feelings of disconnectedness to our wives degenerate into an action we will regret for the rest of our lives.
