Menopause is something all women will experience at some point in their life, yet at least half of us are completely unprepared when it arrives. The lack of knowledge about menopause leaves millions of women struggling to understand what is happening to their bodies, why they may be feeling the way they do, and whether treatment and support is available. Janet Ko, President of the Menopause Foundation of Canada, a national non-profit organization dedicated to raising awareness of the impact of menopause on women and society joins me to discuss.
