The Make-a-Wish Foundation has been operating for 40 years. It spans thousands of volunteers all across the United States and dozens of other countries. And its one goal is to make wishes come true for children, between two and a half and eighteen years old, who are suffering from critical illnesses. Dennis Heron, President and CEO of the Philadelphia, Delaware & Susquehanna Valley chapter joins the podcast to talk about how the organization is functioning through the pandemic, and how they are granting their 7,000th wish this week.
