LaRoyce Hawkins is our guest this week.

For eight seasons, he's been in your house as Officer Kevin Atwater on NBC's Chicago PD. Turns out he's also a talented rapper, comedian, poet, and has a strong sense of his "assignment" in life and business.

I loved his story about how he chose acting as a career path, and how he relies on mentors like his grandfather and Eriq La Salle to help him stay focused and out of his comfort zone. Some good stories and big lessons in this one.
