There is no teacher like experience. That teacher also carries a sledgehammer called "lessons learned". In other words, learn the lesson or find out what it costs to make the same mistake again. Often, you will repeat the same mistake more than once until you learn how to avoid it or find a better way. Even worse is learning a painful lesson, allowing time to pass, and then forgetting what you learned. This is why I created these Behind the Pauses: The Making of PAUSE for Dramatic Effect so that I would not forget these pain lessons. It is my refresher course in producing an audio drama. My hope is that these lessons will act as a primer for you to use when learning how to produce an audio drama, or as a refresh for your next one.
